"I am Chocolate, an indulgent creation by Lena, co-founder of Buy Food with Plastic. Handmade from vegan ingredients, I am produced in Zurich's Kreis 5. But that's not all. While you let me melt in your mouth, three person in Nicaragua, India or Ghana receive a warm meal. At the same time, 30 plastic bottles are saved from the environment and recycled. Tastes even better, doesn't it?"

PRODUCTION

We strive to be transparent and environmentally friendly in everything we do. Sustainability, traceability and Fairtrade are at the forefront of our minds. That is why we have chosen the St. Jakob Foundation as our producer. With self-imposed principles, they ensure fair working and production conditions, fair wages above Fairtrade levels and high quality of processed cocoa. As recommended by WWF, they use RSPO or POIG certified sustainable palm oil. Wherever possible, such as with sugar, they source ingredients from Switzerland.

INGREDIENTS

Couverture Grenada 65% (cocoa seeds, sugar CH, cocoa butter, emulsifier E322, vanilla flavor), hazelnuts, sugar CH, palm fat, coconut fat, cocoa powder, emulsifier E322, vanilla.

Contains soy and hazelnuts. May contain traces of milk and almonds.

PACKAGING

The chocolate is packed in a cellophane bag, which can be disposed of in normal waste.

CHF 18 per Box of 100 g.

Our Chocolates are handmade by handicapped people in Zurich, and there is no profit included in the selling price:, the margin goes 100% to the charitable work of Buy Food with Plastic.
